Idea
Introduction
We are a group of medical doctors, based in the UK, endeavouring to provide curative treatments to stage 4 (deemed-terminal) Cancer that are not available within the NHS.
Intended impact
The Public believes that cancer is incurable as they and their loved-ones continue to die and that they must run, walk, wear wristbands and give donations in order for the doctors to 'find a cure'.
In reality, the medical technologies to cure cancer already exist and have been proven - it is the fact that they are so complicated, risky and costly that the doctors are not able to implement them nationally.
Substantial accomplishments to date
Academic institutions around the world have shown, in clinical trials, that stage 4 metastatic cancer is curable with sustained integrative surgical and immunological treatments - obtaining cure rates that were not anywhere nearly obtainable just a few years ago.
Monetisation strategy
The NHS has a health budget of between £12K to £15K for each individual who has advanced cancer which only allows for palliative treatment, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy or hospice care.
The opportunity to provide more effective cancer treatment, on a private basis, exists - as the customer cannot live without it, literally.
Use of proceeds
We are now at the stage of deploying these impactful technologies at scale.
Our objective is to bring tomorrow's treatments to today's cancers to those patients who find the offered standard therapies to have failed them in their hour of need.
